Essential Function 1: Operational sales activities 1. Responsible for the complete sales process from acquisition, bid proposal including risk management, contract negotiations and after-sales services. Supports order processing. 2. Direct customer contact for all commercial and technical matters. 3. Maintain business with existing customers by frequent technical and commercial meetings, account management 4. Acquire new customers (analyze and understand client's technology in detail, offer appropriate products) 5. Maintain an accurate order received and order invoiced forecast as input for resource planning 6. Maintain reporting systems (Installed Volume, Miller-Heimann Sheets and similar, Interaction Reports etc.) 7. Develop & propose price/margin expectations based on market & competition analysis 8. in line with the regional BU and BS strategy 9. Maintain customer relationship
Essential Function 2: After Sales Service 1. Liaise with technical services and product management functions; deliver technical feedback from the customer 2. Coordinate with technical service team on site services, such as start-up assistance and operator/customer trainings 3. Perform data evaluations, technical consulting, trouble shooting, evaluation of spent catalyst analysis 4. Maintain current customer information in CRM 5. Support joint projects with customer 6. Handling of customer claims
Essential Function 3: Trainings 1. Take part in professional technical and commercial trainings/seminars according to approved training program 2. Take part in scheduled safety trainings organized by Clariant and Customers 3. Share experience, supervise, train new employees
Essential Function 4: Marketing Activities 1. Collect and communicate market information 2. Collect and communicate competitor information 3. Share market know-how with internal functions like R&D, business development ect. 4. Participate and represent in industry relevant events, like conferences and congresses
