The position of “Quality Manager” oversees the operations of the ASAM quality; being in charge of maintaining and implementing ISO9001/AS9100 Quality systems and certificate, export compliance program; ensuring all quality related complaints and certificate of conformance are reviewed accurately. Being the representative of CAAC as a DFCR to monitor and oversee the quality and process of mixed paint and perform related responsibilities.
Quality System + Maintains the ISO9001/AS9100 Quality System, including policy and procedure development, operational assessments, process reviews, customer satisfaction surveys, supplier performance assessments and continuous improvement initiatives. + Takes charge of ISO9001/AS9100/ certification and qualifications, CAAC, CAMAC and all customer audits. + Supports and processes quality related issues and quality complaints and non-conformance; enters and tracks all complaints and non-conformance in Contact Manager; reports issues or requests to suppliers; files RDR, if required. + Gathers and analyzes quality metrics and develops process improvement plans, and monitors plan implementation to ensure desired improvements and efficiencies are achieved + Reviews and evaluates open issues and determine appropriate actions to resolve and close out. Ensure corrective actions and preventative measures are implemented.
Export Compliance + Develops, reviews and maintains Company’s Compliance program in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. + Prepares and monitors license applications and other requests for approval with all relevant government agencies. Coordinates with appropriate personnel to determine export classification, researches and identifies export licensing requirements to ensure 100% compliance with regulations. + Keeps current of new or modified government regulations and laws through company-wide internal and external training programs, deploying both formal and informal communications, and implementing process improvements initiatives if necessary. + Reviews and approves Quote & Sales Order Checklists as per internal procedures.
EHS & Hazardous Goods Managements + Leads safety and environment compliance on manufacturing site. + Maintains and manages safety standardization system including policy and procedure development, process reviews as well as annual audit coordination. + Leads the renewal of dangerous goods operation license and dual use license.
Primary person in charge of safety / DG production: + Establish and improve the responsibility system for the safety production; + Organize to formulate safety production regulations and operating procedures that are 100% legally compliant; + Organize and implement the training plan for the safety production that are 100% compliant with Chinese law + Supervise and inspect the safety production work and eliminate hidden dangers of production in a timely manner; + Organize and implement the emergency rescue plan for the production safety accident; + Immediately report production safety accidents in a truthful manner.
Qualifications Required: - 5+ years working experience with background in ISO9001 AS9100 & AS9120 internal audit and the certification process - Aerospace or DG chemical industrial experience is preferred - Background with temperature-sensitive and shelf life of chemical/coating materials preferred - Knowledge in aerospace materials or distribution business is preferred. - Bachelor's degree, major in Chemical is preferred.
