CENTRIMEX, a global and historic company founded in France in 1948 and is a major player in the freight forwarding industry connecting Africa, Europe, and Asia with 23 offices worldwide, including 13 offices located on the African continent. RESPONSABILITIES : He/she will conduct the following tasks, including but not limited to: The Sea Freight Procurement Manager negotiates, coordinates and monitor all the negotiations handled in Asia Pacific with our shipping line partners and co-loaders. Maintain and develop the relationship with our key partners. Bring and develop the relationship with new partners. Work on the buying strategy with overall volumes. Cooperate on the seafreight tenders and pricing team. Coverage is for all Asia with a special focus on China-to-Africa trades. Provide competitive buying rates to existing and potential businesses. Provide yield and volume analysis. Forecast the needs in low and peak seasons. Daily coordination with the procurement team in our HQ (France). REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor/Master degree, ideally specialized in business, economics, logistics and/or supply chain management. Relevant experience in the overall industry experience, ideally with an experience in a shipping line; preferably from a multinational working environment. With strong knowledge of the ocean freight industry, including procurement and capacity management knowledge for ocean freight; with Carrier background is a plus. Customer-focused and independent working team player with professional attitude/behavior Good network with carriers at local and top managerial level. Appreciate expertise in specific trade lanes to Africa, Europe, Middle East and Latam. Strong operation understanding and capability to manage changes and unexpected events. Proficient user in MS Office especially in MS Excel. Teamworking and hands on attitude are necessary. Native Chinese and fluent English is mandatory; French or additional languages will be a big plus.
