Are you a talented QC with experience from the furniture industry and have a strong desire for continuous improvement? As one of our quality specialists for indoor furniture your focus will be to ensure the right quality is shipped to our customers on time. Your knowledge of production, materials, surface treatment and packaging will enable you to make the correct decision according to our quality standards.
You will be a part of our China team (Qingdao Shandong area) and an important part of our China Team. You will daily be in contact with colleagues in our Shanghai office. Knowledge of quality requirements, materials, surface treatment, processes and packaging will enable you to support supplier and supply chain department.
Main tasks include: Inline and final inspections; Prepare quality reports in Qarma; Provide technical assistance to suppliers; Train suppliers in our quality level; Communicate with suppliers and colleagues regarding rework and re-inspections; Inform colleagues about order status based on findings in factory; Develop, implement, and monitor corrective and preventive actions at suppliers to ensure continuous; Carry out QC inspections when needed; Detail oriented and analytical profile;
You have a minimum of 5 years working experience as QC for furniture or similar experience from production. Work experience for a major international company an advantage.
For the position we furthermore expect you to: Have a great technical understanding and strong knowledge of production and quality requirements; Have extensive experience with furniture for international customers; Demonstrate strong sense of responsibility and have a proactive approach; Be structured and detail oriented in your work; Have a college degree; Willing to travel when needed; English writing an advantage;
