? Main point of contact for Government Authorities (Customs Bureau, Commercial and Commodity Bureau…) team regarding China trade compliance program components
? Perform audit as requested by AEO regulation
? Support to maintain and enhance processes and procedures regarding regulated trade activities (imports, exports, trade programs)
? Perform basic legislative and operational compliance impact analysis
? Provide guidance to teams concerning the requirements and obligations of intra China and cross-border movement of goods.
? Support the product classification process to ensure HS, Export Control designation, and communication of this information to appropriate business personnel
2. Importation Operations
? Manage daily operations with the broker, MLB stakeholders and BPO to ensure engagement is established and communicate with relevant internal parties for incomplete documents or discrepancies in documents.
? Identify Customs risks areas and evaluate related internal controls, develop actionable plans and procedures to reasonably mitigate and address identified risks.
? Lead efforts to manage operational compliance with all import/export activities to meet compliance requirements; maintain ability to participate in any relevant special programs or other related activities.
? Manage transportation and related logistics of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers.
? Coordinate with Buyers, vendors, freight forwarders and carriers to ensure timely, accurate and cost-effective delivery of goods.
? Maintain project logistics risks and opportunities enable proactive upstream and downstream influence and savings opportunities.
? Manage shipment and custom activities for import & export services.
? Identify and implement best cost solutions regarding transport mode, route, carrier selection,
? Working cross-functionally to identify improvement opportunities and implement successful changes.
Qualifications:
1) Bachelor degree above, major international trade / logistics preferred.
2) 8+ years working experience in trade compliance or import/export related
3) FTW/APP industry preferred
4) Experience with government Bureaus/administrative departments preferred.
5) AEO experience required.
6) PM experience with process and trade compliance.
7) Strong communication and consultancy skill
8) Risk and Regulatory sensitive
9) proficiency in both written and oral English, good communication skills
