Job Title: Sales Engineer of Semiconductor and PV market, East & Middle China Region
Reporting directly to: Regional Sales Manager-East and Middle China
Role Description: ? He / She will combine the technical knowledge with sales skills to provide customer proposal, establish customer rapport and acquire strategic accounts in the Semiconductor & PV market in both East and Middle China region. ? He / She will also be responsible for generating brand awareness, demonstrating products, supporting on application and service activities at customer site, as well as assisting sales partner’s activities when needed in assigned region and industry.
Major Duties & Responsibilities ? Establishing a strong presence in the semiconductor and PV market. Developing the business and expanding the market share by acquiring new customers. ? Searching for new customer who might benefit from company products or service ? Meeting with customers over the phone, email, or on-site visit ? Making presentation and demonstration on how product meets customer needs ? Generating and negotiating sales proposals and commercial contracts to meet both customer and company needs ? Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and after-sales support services with service engineers ? Developing long-term relationship with customer through managing and interpreting their requirements ? Maintaining records and reporting of customer communication, sales activities and customer situation ? Supporting marketing activities, e.g., attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events ? Developing sales and marketing support materials, and sales solution for specific technical application
Qualifications: ? 2 to 5 years’ work experience ideally in instrumentation, semiconductor and electronics, lab equipment, analytical instrument, process machinery and sub-system industry ? Min. 1 year successful experience in customer development and technical sales role is preferred ? Relevant market experience and application knowledge with Mass Flow Controller will be advantage ? Strong technique learning capabilities and communication skills (both English and Chinese in writing and oral) ? Willingness to undertake frequent domestic and overseas travelling (>50%) ? Capabilities for conduct customer prospecting, cold calls, deal closing, and on-site commissioning support and training if required ? Bachelor’s degree in engineering, principle or/and experience in process instrument, automation, fluid control will be assets
