Key Responsibilities: 1. Demand Creation - New customer base creation to present and sell the company's product to new potential customers throughout the territory. 2. Existing Channel management - Driving, Co-working with and managing distribution channels' resource with an aim to achieving buget revenue, business growth, market penetration and customer relationship. 3. To work closely with internal customer services, technical support and marketing team to ensure required support levels in terms of pricing, supply and delivery. 4. To prepare a variety of design-in and other status reports, including weekly activity and monthly action plans. 5. To work with the other FTDI teams to analyse potential customer opportunities based on incoming data from other departments. 6. Other ad-hoc duties Additional Responsibilities: Any reasonable task assigned by management and deemed to be within the individual’s capabilities to ensure smooth running of the business. Knowledge & Skill Requirements: 1. Minimum of 5-8 years experience within the semiconductor industry 2. Excellent writing and verbal communication skills 3. Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a technical / semiconductor background. 4. Prior technical sales manager experience 5. Solid experience in solution sales (not commodity sales) with customer network in IT/ Industrial OEM/ODM 6. Excellent presentation skill 7. Must have experience of dealing with all levels of the customer relationship from engineering, procurement to senior Management. 8. Must have ability to resolve customer issues in all respects including pricing, deliverables, supply and quality. 9. Must have experience in managing global accounts. 10. A clear and concise communication skill is essential 11. Must be fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese, CET-6 at least. 12. Prior experience in USB, UART, I2C, SPI, Resistance Type Touch Panel technology would be a plus.
