Responsibilities: As a Merchandiser at Blackin Trade, your key responsibilities will include: * Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with our valued suppliers, fostering trust and open lines of communication. * Supplier Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, working closely with them to optimize efficiency and maintain high-quality standards throughout the procurement process. * Sample Development Support: Collaborate with factories during the sample development stage, providing guidance and support to ensure that products meet client specifications. * Efficient Order Processing: Oversee the issuance of orders and diligently follow up on specific orders, ensuring a smooth and timely execution from request to shipment. * New Supplier Sourcing and Product Development: Play an active role in identifying potential suppliers, assessing their capabilities, and driving new product development initiatives. * Organized Workload Management: Prioritize and manage your daily tasks, aligning them with long-term company objectives and procedural assignments. * Quality Control and Issue Resolution: Collaborate with the quality control team, suppliers, and logistics providers to address any quality or shipment issues promptly. * Market Research: Attend trade fairs to stay up-to-date with the latest market trends and developments. * Additional Tasks: Undertake other responsibilities assigned by the manager to contribute to the overall success of our operations. Requirements: * University graduate with a relevant degree. * Previous merchandising experience in a trading company, buying office, or sourcing office is preferred but not required * Excellent multitasking abilities, adaptability to changing schedules and priorities. * Fluent in written and spoken English. * Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Proactive, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and driven by a sense of urgency. * Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software. Language Requirement: Good level of English, both written and spoken. Salary and Benefits: * Salary package with 12 months' pay + end-of-year bonus based on performance. * Flexible work Travel Requirement: Occasional Business trips for supplier quality control purposes.
