1、 Main Objectives Manage and lead the organization in all aspects of purchase according to Suprajit Group requirements and actively contribute to achieve the company’s goals. 2、 Area of Responsibility Establish and maintain a supplier base in China/Asia according to Suprajit supply strategy that can offer quality, cost performance, technical competence and delivery precision at a world class level. Follow up the purchase activities, selection of suppliers and work with supplier development to meet the defined targets of the company. Secure the quality of the purchased material. Make agreements with suppliers to optimize the total cost for the company. Work actively to get new potential suppliers, benchmark different suppliers against each other and to develop the suppliers. Support the buyers to manage supplier relationships to drive supplier performance, contract effectiveness, collaboration and integration and deliver improved result. Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with key vendors with the objective of reducing costs and eliminating inefficiencies Build and maintain relationships with global purchase team. Ensure purchase strategy is communicated to relevant parties across purchasing functions. And supplier capacity is aligned to new development plans Build and maintain relationships with internal customers and other functions to ensure continuous improvement and that service level commitments are met. Drive demand management to optimize lifecycle cost; Conduct PPV activities, budgeting, and annual price negotiations as well as LCC initiatives Establish/control annual budget and objectives. Management of purchase recourses for projects, ensuring that a high sustainable workload is maintained for each individual and that sufficient capacity is available with reference to budget and project frames. To ensure that corporate health, safety and environment policies are implemented. 3、 Personal Tasks The personal tasks of the production manager consist of, but are not limited to, the following activities. Manage and lead the team to participate in the preparation of quotations, as well as in negotiations and other contacts with suppliers. Manage and lead the team to participate when selecting suppliers and negotiating with them. Actively to report to the MD following normal reporting routines but also to report events and situations for which no reporting routines exist. Achieve all objectives 4、 Main Challenges PPV 5、 Important External Contacts Suppliers 6、 Competence profile (ideal) Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, international trade, engineering or other relevant discipline Master’s Degree and recognized qualification in Purchasing is plus Minimum 5 - 10 years of purchasing experience, preferably in commodity management positions Minimum of 5 years experience from automotive industry. Leadership and change management experience High degree of personal integrity and confidence. Speaking and writing English fluently. 7、 Authority To act independently within the compass of the current rules and guidelines of company in order to reach the objectives.
