Key responsibilities: As the Channel Marketing Assistant Manager/Manager for GN, you will: ? Analyse and understand the customer landscape, to uncover growth opportunities ? Lead the creation & implementation of best in class customer specific or key channel consumer campaigns/communication to drive category & brand share: - Develop compelling commercial selling stories to excite and engage customers in campaigns ensuring that GN is the customer partner of choice - Promotion owner, working hand in hand with local sales teams to develop & execute both sell-in and sell-out plans aligned to the specific marketing plan priorities. - Optimize customer activity tool-box, and partnership programs - Develop profitable volume-driving promotions - Own and capitalize on the customer briefing process for individualised activation - Report on retail marketing execution and performance against agreed metrics - Other marketing support like marketing materials printing and POS giveaways support etc. - Event management - Own and execute major events such as new product launch event, industry conference(Beijing International Audiology Conference) etc. in support of the company’s strategic goals Preferred education and experience: - Be degree qualified, preferably in Marketing or business-related disciplines - Have >5 years combined experience in retail marketing, event management. Sales experience is a plus. - Have experience with both multi-national accounts/chains as well as independent customers in a B2B or B2B2C environment - Have experience in medical device, optical or health-related industries (favoured but not essential). - Successfully interpret data to create commercial insights, and use those insights to develop account relationships & activation strategies/plans. - Be able to thrive in an ever-evolving environment, in an industry that is rapid growth - Be resourceful and creative in bringing the best customer solutions to life. - Be confident in leading discussion with Customers and the Sales team - Have proficiency in cost & budget management - Work well in cross-functional teams, in a lean environment
