Full job description As Distribution Department Manager, you are responsible for the management of the Distribution Department. And you will be in charge of our strategy and client relationships, ensuring that ceramic products are promoted and sold. Acquiring new customers and keeping existing ones will be part of your responsibilities, as will understanding what they want in order to meet their short- and long-term goals, ensuring delivery of the best of our services, and generating demand through appropriate care and service to the company's various sales channels.
Main functions: -Identify and take the opportunities to maximize the visibility of ceramic products to generate sales. -Work to find new points of sale. -Develop and maintain current product knowledge to present to customers. -Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients within the remodel, home improvement, kitchen countertop, cabinet makers, builders, and fabrication. -Responsible for overall sales of the assigned territory. -Ensure customers have adequate marketing materials to support sales, including samples, brochures, and other collateral supplies. -Manage customer relationships by resolving client concerns, ensuring customers are set up in CRM System, providing price quotes, scheduling weekly visits, etc. -Increase market share by elevating the number of displays and point-of-purchase materials within assigned territory. -Build and maintain good relationships with clients based on mutual trust and respect. -Attend and provide post–sale service.
Job Requirements -College degree or above -Be fluent in English both speaking and writing and Spanish is a plus; -At least 2-3 years of sales experience -Experience with a Customer database, Sales force preferred. -Stone fabrication or distribution experience -Knowledge of kitchen business and distribution of slabs
