Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced R&D Manager to lead our Research and Development team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in understanding customer requirements, overseeing project execution, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and innovation. Additionally, the R&D Manager will provide support to the procurement and quality departments in developing new suppliers and defining technical specifications for subcontracting.

Responsibilities:
Customer Requirement Analysis:
? Collaborate closely with sales and project management teams to thoroughly understand customer needs and specifications.
? Translate customer requirements into technical specifications for product development.

Team Leadership and Coordination:
? Lead a team of three dedicated professionals, providing clear direction and guidance.
? Effectively allocate tasks and resources, ensuring efficient project execution.
? Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.


Technical Expertise:
? Leverage a strong mechanical background and expertise in system integration to guide the team in product development.
? Provide technical mentorship and support to team members.

Project Oversight:
? Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
? Implement effective project management methodologies and tools.

Performance Management:
? Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support team members in achieving their goals.
? Identify training and development opportunities for team members.


Support to Procurement and Quality:
? Collaborate with the procurement department to develop new suppliers, ensuring they meet the company's quality and technical standards.
? Define technical specifications for subcontracting, ensuring smooth integration with in-house manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (advanced degree preferred).
? 10 years working experience in a similar R&D or technical leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
? In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and electronic components.
? Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
? Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
? Effective communication (English) and interpersonal skills.
