Job Description ---------------------------------------------------------- We are currently seeking an On-Board Software Test Engineer for our esteemed client, Amaris Consulting. This opportunity is perfect for those with 4 to 6 years of experience in the field and who are looking for a challenging role within a dynamic international environment. The position is based in China and comes with an Undetermined Duration Contract. Designing, developing, and executing software tests to identify any bugs or issues before the product launch. Working closely with the development team to understand what needs testing and then carrying out that testing so it fits around their schedule. Maintaining documentation of test results; analyzing test results and recommending modifications to meet project specifications. Participating in defining, designing, building, testing stages as well as following up on the production process while ensuring compliance with quality standards. Involvement in all phases of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), including requirements analysis, design reviews & code inspections. Liaising between systems engineers and software developers to ensure software test requirements are met. Demonstrating knowledge about cockpit functionalities by providing valuable input during system design phase This role will challenge your technical skills while offering you the chance to work on exciting projects within a highly skilled team. About You ---------------------------------------------------------- The ideal candidate would be someone who has strong analytical skills along with excellent problem-solving abilities. You should have good communication skills which allow you not only understand complex information but also explain it clearly others when required. Your attention-to-detail should be second-to-none as this role requires meticulousness at every step of the way from planning through execution till reporting stage A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in software testing or a related field. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes. Experience with cockpit functionalities is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases. A keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently when required. An understanding of Agile/Scrum development principles would be beneficial but not essential.
