Objective of Position: BOM, release and structural data management (functional) Reporting of the maturity of BOM and CAD data to the data manager and project team Reporting of release status to the data manager and project team Contact person for PDM related issues in the project team Data management from concept till end of production
Technical Responsibility: 1. Part maturity level management 2. Creation and maintenance of Prototype-/Series BOM and CAD structure 3. Alignment of BOM and CAD structure 4. Drawing formal check conforming to standards ( master data, title block, material, standards and norms) 5. Release of 2D and 3D data in the PDM system 6. Providing of 2D/3D data internal/external 7. Creation and provision of calculated vehicles for PT-shop
Planning, Target Achievement, Monitoring & Reporting: 1. Monitoring and steering of the release planning per build-up phase and part maturity level 2. Highlight delayed releases to the data-manager 3. Support for evaluation of demands for Prototypes 4. Provision of Prototype-BOMs for PT-Shop 5. Participate project team meetings in accordance with the data-manager
Project Related Tasks: 1. Execution of the release and change management process in the project 2. Implementation of approved change requests in the PDM system 3. Know how transfer and support for PDM issues in the daily business (designer, engineers,…) 4. Creation and maintenance of part per part planning
Employee Related Tasks: 1. Contact for internal and external customers for the defined scope concerning BOM and structure management issues 2. According to the given data ensure the release of BOM, 2D/3D data in the certain PDM landscape
Organisation & Management Responsibilities: 1. Support of method and process manager concerning development of methods, processes and tools 2. Active support of the data manager and group leader in the daily business 3. Self-organization of assigned work scope 4. Team player
Requirements: 1. Business/technical relevant educational qualification 2. Better to have 3-5 years' automotive industry experience 3. Cost awareness, commitment to task/managing work according to LDS core competencies 4. Basic knowledge of Catia、NX、TC、PDM/PLM (Windchill, Teamcenter, Enovia) is preferred 5. Fluent English
