Responsibilities and missions ? Responsible for battery pack and sub component mechanical design, analysis, validation ? Responsible for battery system’s integration to vehicle ? Responsible for battery mechanical integration and mechanical components design release ? Manage system or component suppliers’ development work and cooperate with global team ? Lead design review in project development and responsible for technical deliverables ? Lead mechanical related validation including pack and sub component level, support vehicle validation ? Support Design Failure Mode and Effect Analyses ? Support prototype and production build as required ? Responsible for trouble shooting, issues tracking and addressing ? Support battery strategy & benchmark activities, regional battery technology trend and strategy analysis, battery cost analysis and trend forecast, etc.
Qualifications ? Bachelor’s degree or above major in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering etc. ? 3~5 years of working experience in OEM or tier 1 supplier, 1-2 complete development projects experience (from concept study to mass production) is required. ? Understanding of Chinese market environment including GB standards and incentive policy for the development of electrified powertrains ? Good battery mechanical integration and mechanical component development background, experience in successfully executing projects to on time, on schedule and within budget. ? Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills to work with local and global team. ? Fluent oral English is must. ? Willing to travel domestically. ? Experience with MS PowerPoint, Excel, 3D modeling software, simulation software. ? Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment ? Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective ? Interpersonal skills to influence and spur change, facilitate and enhance performance within a cross - functional environment ? Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence. ?
