Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
?Create 3D models, 2D drawings, Bill of Material, and release / change parts and BOMs in ERP system, complying with global design standard.
?Continuous product improvement for global products, create designs that consider all product variation within the Engineer Change Requests (ECR) and minimize part count/product cost.
?Coordinate and manage the partners/contractors to finish the ECRs.
?Lead design concept test activities to validate the design, prepare the test report, need travel periodically to BAC manufacturing plant when concept built and test.
?Create and maintenance engineering document, such as assembly reference drawing, rigging & assembly manual, operation & maintenance manual.
?Participate in the cost out items analysis and execution.
?Provide technical support internally and externally for Customer, Sales, Marketing, Application, Manufacturing and Warranty Services. It may need occasional travels within short period domestically or abroad.
