Responsibilities and missions 1. Benchmark Project Management Manage and closely follow-up on BEV benchmark related projects from preparation phase to closing. o Project preparation 1. Design detail test procedures through clear understanding of target BEV highlight and client expectation. 2. Evaluate and secure necessary resources. 3. Develop technical guidance to support outsourced benchmarking projects. o Manage & close follow-up during project: 1. Work with engineering partners and conduct conformity check and test data accuracy examine during the process. 2. Report data error and abnormal phenomenon timely, with correction and amendment plan then put action timely. 3. Closely monitor and understand NEV industry’s current strategy and technology innovation, from OEM competitors to key players in supply chain, and NEV eco-system. 4. Communicate with client and update latest project status and achievements, market hot topic sharing by weekly basis. 5. Manage the technicians and maintenance of the vehicles, workshops, tools. o Project closing 1. Be responsible for analysis report from performance tests, electricity powertrain and battery related components analysis. 2. Be responsible for summarizing and analyzing the latest market information. 3. Maintain and create lesson-learned archive for organization.
2. Stakeholder management o Manage benchmark team member to achieve higher performance. o Work with powertrain and battery engineering teams to support technical design highlight discovery during deep dive component analysis.
Main indicators – Key deliverables o Product performance test results analysis report. o Product design logic and intention analysis report based test results, user demand analysis. o Contribute to regular research report on hot topics. o Contribute to NEV trend analysis. o Other specific project or task assigned by line manager.
Key Partnerships o External: Engineering company, Gov think-tanks, local and overseas R&D stakeholders. o Internal: NEV department R&D stakeholders.
Requirement (Knowledge, Competency, Skills and Experience) o Bachelor or above degree in automotive, mechanical, electric power engineering, etc, graduate from 985/211 university is preferred. o More than 5 years’ experience in NEV industry, or NEV industry research/engineering company. o Working experience in global company is preferred. o Good understanding of China automotive industry development trend. o Familiar with NEV, charging, electric power system related policy, regulation and standard. o Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) with clear logic. o Fluent in both oral and written English is a MUST. o Good at MS office, especially PowerPoint.
