As a Medical Sales Application Engineer, you are passionate about translating the value of our software to specific customer situations. Are you analytical and communicative? What you will do? 1. Work closely with the account manager in a pre-sales and post-sales role as a clinical and technical expert 2. Attend customer- and prospect-facing meetings with the account manager and, in some cases, alone; engage in the solution-selling process by understanding the clinical and technical needs and gaps of the customer or prospect, and provide them with tailor-made demonstrations and justifications to showcase how our software can provide a solution matching their needs 3. Manage software evaluations and trial software licenses with prospective customers, and conduct the follow-up process to get feedback Handle the day-to-day management of existing customers and offer a high standard of support in a timely manner 4. Offer support to existing customers and troubleshoot any problems they have via email, telephone, and live web meetings 5. Confidently deliver seminar presentations for prospective customers and customer training 6. Continuously look for upselling opportunities Because of your expertise, you will also provide our technical product management and product marketing teams with market input and feedback
Your profile 1. You possess a master’s degree in a technical discipline with a medical focus, such as engineering (biomedical, mechanical), biomedical sciences, life sciences, biology, radiology, or equivalent 2. You are knowledgeable about general anatomy 3. Experience working with medical devices/medical software is a plus 4. Good communication skills in English is a must 5. You enjoy being a technical expert and helping others reach their goals through sharing your expertise; you like to convince people of technical solutions 6. You are interested in the medical world and innovative technologies 7. You are strong at analytical thinking 8. Natural commercial feeling/customer oriented
