Position Summary：

Provide technical support to customers and internally to operations, CS, BD, and other technical departments; for all services and products covered by SBU Hardline& Toys/E&E North China (major products are Toys and children products).

Duties & Responsibilities：

1. Develop new test capabilities
- Help proactively to identify gaps in test capabilities/which new test capability should be developed
- Collect and consolidate all information, evaluate related standards etc. for required equipment and test conditions, in cooperation with operations and BD
- Organize and support for necessary training on equipment and for related standards

2. Provide technical consultancy
- Evaluate existing capability and inform customer/internal inquirer on request
- Select and contact subcontracting laboratories, and supervise the process
- Answer technical questions regarding test methods, requirements, interpretation of standards etc., in cooperation with operations or other departments
- Maintain records about inquiries

3. Prepare test procedures/protocols/plans according to customer’s specifications
- Define/develop tests and the related test conditions, required test equipment and material, applicable evaluation criteria and ratings, in cooperation with customer and operations
- Prepare SOPs, test report template and other necessary documents/formsheets
- Implement the testing, give training to operations, consult/involve GTS if necessary

4. Check, evaluate, improve, prepare instruction manuals and artwork for Toys and children products, according to standard’s requirements and customer’s specifications

5. Age grading determination.

Skills & Requirements
? Familiar with the standards, directives, regulations etc. applicable for Toys and children products, for EU, US/North American, and Chinese domestic market.
? Familiar with ISO/IEC17025 standard.
? Technical understanding, knowledge and experience in electrical and/or mechanical and/or chemical engineering.
? Knowledge about the general structure, procedures, workflow, interaction of CPS Toys and children products teams.
? Able to work independently, willing to do OT and business trip if necessary.
? Good written and spoken English, good communication skills.
? Proactive, reliable and independent in solving problems and developing methods.
? Cooperative, suitable for team work.
? Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet or exceed deadlines.
? Proficiency with Windows, Word & Excel.

Education & Experience

? High Diploma / Degree in Electrical and/or mechanical and/or chemical engineering.
? 4 to 5 years of working experience in operations, technical support or similar in the testing/certification industry.
