As a Service Engineer, you will focus on these responsibilities:
To acquire the necessary knowledge needed to perform assigned tasks through in-house and on-the-job training structured by the department
Ensure that the work is executed according to Wartsila Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures.
Perform field service/commissioning assignments as required for Propulsion products.
Maintain current individual time sheets & expense records to support the timely invoicing of jobs to customers
Ensure customer satisfaction with job performance & through positive interactions
With customers.
Conform with & abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures & instructions.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
Be able to communication in English both oral and written.
Teamwork ability.
Basic safety knowledge.
Willing to travel inside China frequently and outside of China if necessary.
Be able to handle pressure and make decision independently when required.
Electric and automation technical experience, hydraulic knowledge, communication nets and interfaces, sensors, actuators, auxiliary equipment, Computer skills, MS Office suite, etc.
Technical high school diploma in electrics, electronics, automation. BS degree in Marine Engineering, Electrical, Electronics
3 years' work experience in marine industries or other heavy industries, field service or shipyard would be preferred.
Propulsion, seal & bearing experiences will be a plus.
