Job purpose: 61 Manages all process engineering teams, at local level, through a multi-specialized process engineering department in order to guarantee the continuous improvement of process competencies within technological developments, proposals, projects and/or operations. 61 Ensures compliance of process activities with design & engineering standards & procedures and respect of schedules and budget. 61 Develop other more junior personnel’s skill by providing on the job training and appraising their performance. 61 Provide advice and check works in her/his fields of expertise when required. 61 Provide manhour estimates for proposals and control manhour during project execution. Main duties: 61 Manages the Process and Specialist teams (performance monitoring, Process and Specialist Engineers selection, development, motivation and mentoring & etc.) 61 Recruitment of qualified individuals, monitoring of staff performance, and management of resources as well as allocation of resources to projects and proposals. Further, maintaining and developing the proficiency of Department personnel in terms of: working methods, technical training, career planning of individuals with the HR teams. 61 Defines objectives (example: annual, 3-year plan) and proposes development plans and long-term vision and orientation of the Department/Division 61 Control the training/ technical development budget of the department 61 Defines the organization of the discipline, processes and methods of work within the center engineering policy and ensures their implementation 61 Represents the discipline towards management, clients, vendors, subcontractors and projects 61 Initiates, implements and maintains the QHSE policies 61 Promotes a HSE and quality culture 61 Ensures the department adheres to financial and staff utilization budgets and targets 61 Be responsible for final review of ***/hours, MTO quantities and possibly cost estimate on proposals. 61 Guarantees adequate process support and high level quality of process activities to R&D proposals, projects and operations. 61 Guarantees availability of up-to-date knowledge, services & tools, such as software, methods, reference documentation through consolidation of know-how, experiences, best-practices dissemination actions and peer review sessions.

Education background 89 University chemical engineering degree
