JOB DESCRIPTION Title: Quality Controller Textile Report to: Quality manager POSITION DESCRIPTION GENERAL MISSION: -Ensure product conformity with Auchan approved samples and the correct -Monitor production and production capacity on sites to ensure correct assembly quality and inspections (delivery) on time, work out effective solutions with the merchandisers if need and monitor CAP. -Conduct planned final inspection with Auchan requirement and European regulation/Norms. -Conduct 3rd inspection audit on schedule. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: -Product compliances: Ensure product conformity with Auchan approved samples and the correct workmanship 1. Conformity sample review: attend conformity sample ( with comments) review tri-party meeting including suppliers, Auchan merchandisers and Auchan Quality (Engineer and QCs) to evaluate potential quality risks on production and work out improvement action plan.( QC is in charge of the checking of workmanship and clothing/shoes assembling.) 2. Conformity checking during production: Plan regular inline visits to ensure product conformity with full respect of quality requirements. 3. Spudi(Pre-Shipment test) sample picked up by inspector from bulk during inspection or Auchan QC during In-line inspection -In line inspection and production status checking, final inspection Monitor production and production capacity on sites with validated manufactory by Auchan to ensure correct assembly quality and inspections (delivery) on time, work out effective solutions with the merchandisers if need and monitor CAP. And conduct planned final inspection with Auchan requirement and European regulation/Norms. Production quality checking 1. Ensure quality control process of conformity on site with Auchan’s requirement (include the transmitting process of the manufactory from PPS to Bulk production, ) 2. Check the quality of semi / end products during production, analyze roots and CAP if need, and also pre-caution to MM , merchandiser and buyer if need. Production status checking: 1. Production capacity checking base on Auchan product to ensure correct assembly quality. 2. Monitor the initial (updated) production planning to be conducted during bulk production. 3. Evaluate the risks of late delivery and pre-caution to MM and merchandiser. Final inspection: 1. Ensure bulk products ,quantity, labelling and Package in line with Auchan requirement and European regulation/Norms 2. Complete inspection report in factories, and upload data and report in the system on time. Audit 3rd inspection 1. Based on inspection plan, conduct 3rd inspection audit to ensure 3rd inspection in line with Auchan requirement. 2. Perform audit gap and risk analysis 3. Follow up through corrective action plan against CAP requirement INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL INTERFACES (NON HIERARCHICAL) CHINA OFFICE EXTERNAL Merchandiser/ MM Senior QC Fit engineer/ Technician Engineer Quality manager Vendors TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE -Strong understanding of textile/shoes product and production. -Have General knowledge of garment or shoes finishing. -Basic fabric knowledge. -Good command in reading / writing textile product and production related comments in Chinese and English . -Cross cultural communication skills as working with Merchandiser team and Chinese vendor.
