Sr. Lead Technologist
Huntsman’s Polyurethanes division is now looking for a Sr. Lead Technologist within Global Automotive Platform. This role will:
? Build the technical roadmap in the responsible application reflecting global automotive strategy.
? Lead automotive regional/global projects in line with milestones and timeline.
? Support on launching global projects in Asian region per request.
? Support the commercial /technical service team across Asia Pacific region.
This role is an individual contributor and located in Huntsman Shanghai Campus.
As the Sr. Lead Technologist, your responsibilities are:
1) EHS, Corporate Conduct/Ethics and Legal Compliance (10%)
- Comply and ensure zero reportable EHS incident and no breach of Corporate Conduct/Ethics/ policy, standards and practices.
2) Technical (Application and Product) Development (70%)
Build the technical roadmap in the responsible application reflecting global automotive strategy.
- Visit together with commercial team to identify customer needs and generate ideas for the roadmap
- Work with marketing team/NBD team to build technical roadmap in the responsible application
Lead global project/or as technical lead for global project,
- Provide technical solutions for the projects according to the timeline and milestones.
- Lead customer trials till project commercialization
- Support commercial/TS to roll out to more customers.
Support on launching global projects in Asian region per request
Support the commercial /technical service team across Asia Pacific region.
3) Technical Assets (20%)
- Manage the investment, installation, operations and maintenance of technical assets for AutoFlex applications.
