Sells directly to customers, distributors and/or significant domestic or regional accounts. Manages marketing activity, new business strategy and introduction of new products within region. Job Responsibilities ? Responsible for delivering regional budget as defined by Inkjet Business Leadership. ? Manages existing Inkjet organization within China, ensures a regular and clear connection is established with Inkjet Technical Service Manager (Based in France). Direct management of strategic key accounts. ? Develops and gains alignment of an appropriate commercial organization plan for China region. Ensure implementation as required. ? Effectively communicates and negotiates complex sales contracts with customers. Educates customers on new products and product enhancements; articulates and presents product features and benefits. Develops and maintains multi-level business relationships (often involving high levels of management.) ? Develops marketing and sales strategies for territory or region. Identifies opportunities for increasing sales and/or pursuit of new business. Assesses strength and weaknesses of product range vs competition to help build an adequate product strategy. Monitors market technical trends. Develops and implements plans and programs. Obtains information regarding customers’ present and anticipated needs, identifying opportunities for increased sales. Provides leadership that assists management in setting strategic initiatives and programs to achieve corporate strategies. ? Leads Cabot’s efforts to establish levels of excellence in sales and distributor management and customer service. Requirements ? Commercial Excellence. Experience selling products into a high performance technology field like inkjet. Should possess the ability to pivot between account management and marketing activities. ? Proven track record in sales growth and major account management. ? Technically competent. An ability to rapidly learn the key characteristics of Cabot’s products and technical capabilities and to rapidly gain a technical understanding of Cabot’s current and future markets. ? Communications & Presentation Skills. Ability to effectively engage in verbal and written communications that are timely, direct, concise, clear and relevant and delivered with appropriate style and tone. ? Customer Relationship Management. Establishes and maintains appropriate relationships with customers to enable execution of Cabot’s strategic goals; sees the management of the overall customer relationship as a key component of the role ?
