Job Summary: Performs a wide variety of duties related to customer acquisition through sales activities.
Duties & Responsibilities: Specific duties including, but not restricted to: - Responsible for securing new customers, and maintaining and developing existing accounts - Find and develop qualified leads (cold calling), convert them through the sales process into prospects and customers - Regularly client visit validating our service levels and develop new revenue streams - Meet and exceed target set in terms of contributing and generating revenue - Set-up and execute customer SOP for ensuring operating procedure meets customer expectations - Promote the services and products of all entities, and coordinate sales efforts with other department - To prepare the customer profile, quotation and visit report in the EDI system - Follow the superior's instructions and implement policies - Report any special occasions to a superior on time - Any other duties as assigned from time to time
Skills & Educational Requirements: - Minimum 3 years Sales experience in Freight Forwarding/ Logistics; experience in Germany, France market is an advantage - Highly motivated individual with a strong product knowledge in import/export ocean (NVOCC) and air, selling experience of value-added service 3PL solution is preferable - Good written and spoken in English and Mandarin - Knowledge of personal computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel software - Able to work under pressure & tight deadline
Inter Relationships: Good contact with all levels of personnel within the company, clients and vendors
Working Conditions: Flexible hours required occasionally
