Overview:
The Demand Analyst of China Auto Sales Operation is responsible for China Auto forecasting activities associated with Sales, PMs and factory partners. The position creates and maintains forecast models and incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, customers, product management and other sources to support China Auto BU forecast within Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).

Key Tasks:
61 Develop demand forecasts for key customers and some product lines to support China Auto sales forecast and supply to meet customer demands.
61 Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data and evaluate accuracy of forecast results.
61 Co-ordinate cross-functional activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales or customer input.
61 Support sales for capacity checking & analysis to reflect in demand forecast to support production invest plan preparation.
61 Interact with PM leaders to understand forecast drivers, gain consensus and align forecast model to finance guidance projections.
61 Monitor demand plan versus actual results on monthly basis, perform root cause analysis and drive improvement activities.
61 Input and maintain information in the demand planning software, use as the primary forecasting system tool and comply with established timeframes to support the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
61 Provide input and preparation of data used for the supply planning consensus meetings.
61 Monitor/analyze Key customers SA behavior to improve SA forecasting accuracy. Monitor/analyze Key products trends to avoid EOP/ High inventory risk.
61 Design material planning proposal (such as safety stock)/process to PM/Sales base on product business and production features.

Key Performance Measurements:
61 Monthly forecast prediction and provide detail analysis and reason of forecast change by projects.
61 Strong alignment among sales and product management that continuously improve and align the demand and financial forecast.
61 Effectively communicate with key Sales/PMs on forecast performance and develop improvement activities that better anticipate customer needs.

Competencies/Skills:
61 Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all business functions.
61 Strong analytical ability to mine data and derive critical information from varied inputs.
61 Good at time management and problem solving skills.
61 Fast learner; Capable of adapting to new requirements/systems.
61 Open for challenge and able to sustain high pressure.
61 Enthusiasm and willingness to drive continuous improvement into the forecast process.


Key Qualifications, Experiences and Knowledge:

Required:
61 Bachelor’s Degree or above.
61 Over 3 years working experience in planning related functions.
61 Working knowledge of Automotive Ind/manufacturing/supply chain/planning operations.
61 Workable English required; Good at analysis tools or application.
61 Flexibility to support global collaboration outside normal work hours.

Preferred:
61 Over years demand management experience in Automotive Ind Corp.
61 Kowledge with Six Sigma or S&OP etc. Process/Project management.
61 Experience with SAP, IBP or SOM forecast software.
61 Good at PowerBI/Tableau etc. data mining/reporting tools.
