Key responsibilities:
Essential Job tasks:
● Distribute the volume based on the allocation from procurement and the Guideline. Conduct supplier performance management.
● Handling relevant documents.
● Coordinate on service requirement and assist in the collection of relevant charges as per SOP.
● Work with agency to handle ad hoc special operational tasks.
Objectives of the position:
● Transshipment connection between Mother vessel and barge.
● Dwell time of transshipment.
● Barge unit cost.
● Contribution to the cost saving plan.
● Learning opportunities in the position.
● Develop the general knowledge of operation in container shipping.
● Specialize in barge service and connection to global network.
● Simplification and standardization of operational process in order to improve both efficiency and effectiveness.
● Following Maersk’s operating system in the flow of business handling process.
Who we are looking for:
● University undergraduate and above.
● Good interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, analysis skills.
● Good communication and stake holder management.
● Result-oriented self-starter with initiative and strong execution drive.
● Proficient English.
● Working experience in container shipping is a plus, but not a must.
