To lead the non-standard Equipment (Production & Control Equipment) Fabrication
The so called non-standard equipment means the machines used in production process and qualification process, which can not be procured directly from the market. Such kind of equipment will be made through a co-design between SE and suppliers with a combination of mechanical, mechanism, electrical and automation requirements.
To provide the estimated equipment cost To specify the equipment specification & qualification plan To evaluate the supplier competency for suppler mapping To participate in technical choices with suppliers To participate actively in the clarification of product & equipment during project period (offer inquiry, equipment design & trouble-shooting) To review and validate the equipment design & follow up the realization of equipment. To innovate the equipment spec by following up the industrial performance of equipment & up-to-date industrial technologies. To consolidate the equipment files & assure the training of plant staffs To participate in the qualification / acceptance and handover of equipment To support the continuous improvement of equipment performance after handover to plant
Requirements: 1. Required skills & knowledge for the position:
Background in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electrical, Automation & Control Products Design of electromechanical/automation system, with sensors (force/torque/position/speed etc.) Voltage/Current control and measurement Motion control (servo/step motor) MES Specification and application PLC/HMI/SCADA application and programming Rich knowledge of mechanical structure, mechanism and components.
2. Required Educational Background & Professional Experience
University degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Automation Engineering Min. 5 years equipment experience (design, fabrication or maintenance) with 3 years design-related experience in non-standard assembly/test equipment
3. Languages:
Fluent in Chinese & English. (French is an added advantage)
4. Other Requirements:
Travel (Domestic or International) is a must. Travel frequency related to project needs.
