SPS Champion Location: Shanghai
Main Purpose of the Position:
Drive SKF Production System (SPS) deployment in China to enable the
competency to fulfil customers / business needs, by applying Lean Thinking, SPS
Tools and Digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Guide China SKF factories and units for deploying SPS in all steps, by
applying SPS tools and Lean Digital practices and developing relevant
competency in local team of factory or unit.
* Collaborate with global team to both introduce new process/practice into
China while sharing on behalf of China SPS activities, specially for Lean
Digital solutions / projects.
* Collaborate with China Future Factory development team for Lean Digital
realization in SKF China Manufacturing.
* Lead or facilitate SPS related projects throughout the full value chain as
per need. i.e. end to end (E2E) flow improvement, inventory reduction, lean
material flow improvement by involving digital solutions if possible.
* Discover digitalization opportunities, define and (support) design
solutions by working closely with Future Factory development team.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree, major in machinery, engineering or digital technology is
preferred.
* Has a good understanding in Lean Thinking, and Lean Manufacturing, based on
good knowledge about production environment and has been having a
responsibility in manufacturing environment.
* Has deep knowledge in basic stability tools at least (5S, VSM, etc), and
proven deployment experience of them. Practice in supply chain management, or
lean material handling improvement, or lean digitalization project would be a
plus.
* Be able work independently, effective communication and good teamwork
spirit in a cross functional environment.
* Strong in learning capability, self-driven, to take initiatives with
accountability, be persistent.
* Energetic, positive thinking, open-minded and with high ethics.
* Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin. Good command of
Office 365 (SharePoint, Planner, Forms, Flow, etc). Be skilful in extra
simulation software or e-tools in MFG field will be a plus.
* Willing to travel (25-50% of time).
