This position is responsible for materials planning, analysis and managing the purchase of inventory.
Responsibilities: 1) Materials planning, analysis and purchase management of inventory: o Proactive forecasting and inventory planning. o Optimize purchasing to achieve the best costing available for Argosy and our customers. o Optimize inventory levels, avoiding excessive material expiration/scrapping 2) Deliver operational excellence: o Ensure Key-X’s (KPIs) are met or exceeded o Ensure customer satisfaction and overall company performance by working closely with internal teams: CSR/Sales, Finance, Logistics, Warehouse/Production and Quality/Compliance. o Seek potential areas/opportunities for cost saving programs. o Identify operational inefficiencies and performance gaps. Work with cross-functional teams/departments leading to performance excellence. 3) Develop strategic and operational Key-X’s (KPIs) 4) Manage and supervise the inventory purchasing process of the CSR’s 5) Develop monthly inventory budgets and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders 6) Successfully manage and deliver additional projects/duties assigned by management

Formal Education: Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Work Experience: - 7-10+ years of relevant experience - Experienced in inventory planning/analysis/purchasing required - Strong IT skills required - Experience leading and providing guidance to team members
