The Role in Brief: Project Engineer is responsible for all activities related to his projects in HOUS team, and conduct electrical household product safety test as well as performance test on electrical products according to standards or testing methods.
Key Responsibilities include: Organizational: 1. To act and perform according to the Quality Policy and Lab Rules & Regulations; 2. To keep a professional attitude towards all customers and colleagues; 3. To communicate with customers; 4. To communicate with other groups/teams; 5. To report to his/her Project Manager/Supervisor; 6. To perform other duties assigned by his/her Project Manager/Supervisor.
Technical: 1. Prepare the samples for testing using prescribed testing methods, following IEC / EN 60335 testing standards / specifications / Regulations / Decisions, as required; 2. Handling projects and finishing tests and projects within lead time; 3. Manage the samples for subcontracted tests and review the results provided by the subcontracting labs; 4. To prepare projects and technical reports; 5. To perform factory inspection; 6. To explain non-compliance points to customers; 7. To provide technical support to Business Unit; 8. Participate in both internal and external audits of the laboratory(CBTL, CNAS, IAS).
In order to succeed in this role, you have: 1. High Diploma / Degree in Electrical engineering; 2. 2 to 3 years’ working experience in electrical household product safety; 3. Good in local language and English(oral and writing); 4. Proficiency with Windows, Word & Excel; 5. Good knowledge of electrical household products safety.
