Job Overview: As the procurement manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of procurement and supply chain management to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. You will play a key role in developing and implementing procurement strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and optimizing procurement processes to support the company's strategic objectives. Responsibilities: -Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company goals and objectives. -Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and sustainability criteria. -Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable terms. -Manage supplier relationships and performance through regular communication, performance reviews, and issue resolution. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, quality assurance, and finance, to support new product development, production planning, and cost reduction initiatives. -Work closely with the quality assurance department to ensure that suppliers meet quality standards and address any non-conformance issues promptly and effectively. -Lead collaborative activities with other departments to identify opportunities for process improvements, innovation, and cost optimization. -Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. -Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry dynamics to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. -Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to team members. 2. Requirement: -Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. -Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment. -Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts, achieving cost savings, and improving supplier performance. -Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze complex data to make informed decisions. -Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. -Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. -Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office suite. -Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
