As one of our compliance specialists for furniture your focus will be to ensure products meet quality and safety requirements for the testing. Your knowledge of material science, quality, chemical, laboratory will enable you to make the correct decision according to our compliance testing standards.

You will be a part of our China team (Shanghai office) and an important part of our China Team. You will daily be in contact with colleagues in our Shanghai office.
Main tasks and role,
· Maintains inhouse testing equipment, including the XRF scanner, to carry out calibration intime, keep good status for use, and monitor the equipment list with details.
· Creates inhouse testing plan based on product and material risk, customer requests, or the need to support TP’s quality control.
· Coordinates and arranges sampling for testing.
· Conducts inhouse testing and communicate testing results.
· Uploads testing data and provides analysis reports.
· Provides technical support, CAPA suggestions and works with suppliers to implement improvement plan.
· Evaluates and verifies suppliers’ internal control related to testing standards.
· Keeps close communication with the quality team and provides testing support for quality monitoring.
· Communicates with other internal teams on testing standards and results.
· Works with 3rd party to carry out equipment calibration and maintenance.
· Maintains 3rd party data and works to find best service solution related to inhouse testing and equipment.
Knowledge and personal competences,
· Educational background: degree in engineering, material science, quality, chemical, laboratory or equivalent work experience.
· Knowledge of testing procedure, standards, and regulations, with hands-on testing experience in a lab environment.
· Ability to record, analyze and report test data.
· Detail oriented, organized, patient and proactive.
· Good communication skills and data analysis skills.
· Good reading and writing skills both English and Chinese.
· Skilled user of MS Office package and MS Dynamics 365.
