Position Summary
1、Being a senior supply chain specialist, deliver on-time & in-full &
high-quality supply chain (ordering &logistics) services to internal and
external customers.
2、Following 5P working methodology (Partner, Productivity, People, Product,
and Process), manage 3PL’s,support other internal support functions, lead team,
and continuous develop Carl Zeiss supply chain services,so as to improve
service quality, shorten/stabilize lead-time, and reduce logistics cost.
Requirements
Education
1、Bachelor degree in Supply Chain and/or Logistics or other relevant fields,
like International Trade.
Experience
1、 At least 5 to 8 years working experience in logistics;
2、 SAP experience will be preferred
Other skills
1、 Fluent in both written and spoken English;
2、Good at MS software;
3、 Work results-oriented
4、Good cooperation and team work;
5、 Sound communication skills and interpersonal skills;
6、 Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
7、 Be able to work under pressure.
Main Tasks
1、Partner: One-face to partners so as to manage external expection &
Logistics performance;
- One-face to division, via e.g. regular "Coordination" workshop with Sales &
Service;
- One-face to 3PL, covering contract (the part of service requirements only),
performance & payment as well as relationship;
- One-face to other support functions, like F&A, Quality, Purchasing, IT, RA,
Controlling, etc.
2、Productivity:
Continuously improve quality, shorten/stabilize lead-time, & reduce cost:
- deliver projects and encourage team for volunteer-based projects;
-deliver quick-win of process improvements, encourage team for
volunteer-based quick-win's;
-contribute BIIB's (business idea in brief, i.e. validated project/quick-win
opportunity) and encourage team for volunteer-based BIIB's.
3、People:
Perform as senior specialist, ensure team atmosphere of "fair", promote
learning & sharing, and continu-ously develop team:
- Ensure team atmosphere of "fair": establish backup & newcomer orientation &
exit hand-over pro-cess, quantify & balance volume & workload & complexity
across team, being a role model, provide timely support and "walk to" team
members (incl. inhouse & intern);
-Promote learning& sharing: act as knowledge owners; attend generic trainings
and share; encourage team to be volunteer-based knowledge owners, and encourage
team to attend and share trainings;
-Develop team: listen to team voices, understand their development needs.
