Decision Competency:
1. Track and steer the release of the E-BOM.
2. Coordinate the different release departments to ensure the releases in time and in quality.
3. Define the optimization concepts of BOM and Release processes of GWM and all related documentation (QMS, booklet).
4. Define the interfaces to upstream and downstream processes.
5. Define the company used product structure (Workstream to Part relation including release responsibility).
6. Coordinate failure handling of data transfer and define countermeasures.
Tasks:
1. Define the generic process steps, timeline for the best build phase and concepts in PDM area, including configuration check, release mapping concept as well as PMD translation.
2. Organize the weekly E-BOM data transfer workshops.
3. Organize the E-BOM checking at project milestones and steering the correction of the problems identified and ensure the E-BOM approval.
4. Lead and the steer the E-BOM and Release process and concept optimizations to ensure the GMW release quality (in terms of timeline, correctness and completeness) and execution for/with the project, workstream and the plant.
5. Plan the implementation of the business requirements in IT systems and participate in the User Acceptance Test before system go-live.
6. Set-up and continuous improvement of the working model.
