As a Product Manager – Powder for Process Automation Business Area in
Shanghai, Beijing, China, you will be in charge of the complete design of
Powder Handling and Transport System including integration of a wide variety of
mechanical equipment from Specialized Vendors to cope with an overall process
performance.
Your responsibilities
Defining technical orientations to cope with specific requirements to
understand customer value creation and work to increase customer satisfaction
Developing and optimizing Powder Handling and Transport integrated systems
with respect to market evolutions (Customers, Competitors, Vendors, geographies)
Supervising Trials and Tests on prototypes and/or systems at internal or
external premises
Participating to fairs, exhibitions, conferences, webinars to gather
intelligence to stay abreast of the state of the art in their own competence
area, as well as new and evolving technologies
Maintaining the catalogue of products and the cost data base for the
designated geographical area
Performing the technical definition during Bidding Phase
Bringing technical support to the Sales team during discussions with Customers
Approving selected standard products and customized design during Execution
phase and overseas detail engineering performed by Operations
Acting as technical referent to support in Stat-Up phase and After-Sales
Managing the assigned R&D projects related to the Powder Technology applying
own innovative/creative ideas to create value and propose concrete follow-up
and improvement activities/projects following ABB Gate Model Framework
Your background
Master of Science degree
Mechanical engineer, with at least 10-year experience in Specialty Chemicals
in an industrial company, engineering company or technology provider
Powder Handling & Transport Technology experience mandatory
Fluent English
