Responsibilities: 1. Carrying out various Risk and Safety Analyses 2. Perform different types of qualitative and quantitative risk analysis (HAZID, HAZOP, FMEA, QRA, scenario-based approach) 3. Carrying out modeling studies to assess the consequences of leaks (fire, explosion, gas dispersion, thermal radiation) with tools such as PHAST 4. Participating in other types of qualitative and/or quantitative risk analysis such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM); Safety Integrity Level (SIL), Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA.). 5. Communication with clients (Class, Flag, Owners, Shipyards, ship managers, and vendors) 6. Gather and compile relevant data from drawings and relevant documentation relating to design and operations 7. Participate in meetings (both internal and external) as required
Requirements: 1. Graduated as engineer with a focus on risk, safety and environmental management or process engineering, you have real expertise from 5 to 7 years in the field of offshore units and/or ships with regard to their operation, their conduct and their risks. 2. Good knowledge of sea-going ships, vessel operations, New Builds, Class, and Statutory Rules 3. Willingness for occasional trips abroad 4. Motivated and exhibits good initiative and Ability to prioritize and manage workload 5. Good interpersonal and communication skills, Proficient in English (written and spoken) 6. Experience with software PHA-pro and PHAST would be a plus
