Establish and develop key global supply chains for various products/product lines which includes but is not limited to the following activities: *Develop, execute and maintain sourcing strategies to support Surface / Subsea Technologies. *Identify opportunities and suppliers which result in advantage in quality, delivery, functionality, price, reliability, logistics, business-to-business integration, currencies and reduced total cost. *Find and develop best suppliers to meet current and future requirements. *Responsible for seeking total cost advantage whenever possible. *Determine suppliers’ long-term partner potential, including how each party benefits. *Assure quality, pricing, and timely supply to all company sites by global suppliers. *Manage supplier agreements from initial negotiations through supplier development and audit activities. *Annually develop cost improvement strategies and targets for responsible commodities. Monitor quarterly performance against targets. *Develop and manage specific supplier improvement initiatives: especially cost reductions, engineering/ specification changes and delivery/reliability improvement initiatives. *Conduct supplier management with delivery performances tracking and continuous improvement. *Executes a comprehensive sub-category strategy ensuring delivery of best in class results for assigned category at the global level *Proposes and executes actions and initiatives to drive improvements and qualifications required to support Category and Product Groups goals *Leads assigned sourcing projects including identifying and assessing potential new suppliers, negotiating, establishing and updating of supplier agreements *Coordinates demand between suppliers, support tactical sourcing in execution issues *Project management and execution experiences will be required as a plus. Requirement: *BA or BS in Engineering, Supply Management, Business, or Operations Management or related field. MBA or professional certification desired, but not required. *Minimum 3 years’ experience in a purchasing or manufacturing environment. *Preferred 3 years specific commodity purchasing experience. *Preferred 3 years ERP systems experience. *Demonstrated leadership with the ability to gain support of other managers, staff and supplier staffs to implement change without direct supervisory control. *Strong presentation and communication skills at all organizational levels. *Experience with ERP and MRP systems, SAP preferred. *Proficiency with various software applications (i.e., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Visio, etc.) *Technical, metallurgical, or engineering background helpful.
