Primary Purpose of Job
* Support Corporate Affairs and Roche Pharma leaders in managing external
affairs and fostering a favorable policy environment to ensure Roche Pharma
China’s solid footing in the market
Principle Roles & Responsibilities / Accountabilities
* Build relations and engage with Chinese and foreign government and
non-government entities in Shanghai;
* Monitor policy development regarding market opening, foreign investment,
biopharma industry, and operational matters;
* Draft speech, briefings, and policy analysis, as well as present to
internal and external stakeholders when needed;
* Take lead in managing the company’s role and responsibilities with
International Business Leaders Advisory Council (IBLAC) and China International
Import Expo (CIIE);
* Support other matters such as reception of government visits to Roche
campus, executive visits, mandatory report filing to government authorities,
internal projects and coordination, etc.
Qualification and Experience
Education/Qualifications
* Minimum bachelor’s degree;
* Minimum 8-year professional experience;
* Past experience in either government or MNC is a must;
* Proven experience with a leading pharma/healthcare company is a plus

* Strong team spirit but think and act with integrity;
* Strong communication and reasonable people skills;
* Attentive to details;
* Strong work ethics;
* Professional proficiency in written and spoken English
