1. Support Regional Sourcing/Supply Chain for HQ Development. ？ Proactively search for and find qualified suppliers to meet the business plan outlined from GM China and support HQ Sourcing activity on agreed and aligned projects. ？ Work closely with GM and Finance to source inline with best cost suppliers to successfully pass and release suppliers into purchase team operations. ？ Work closely with the HQ Sourcing & Engineering to ensure that technical specifications are followed and that project schedules are adhered to; ？ Make RFQ, evaluate quotations with Sourcing development and propose qualified suppliers to China and HQ teams; ？ Negotiate and secure aligned business terms on price, quality assurance, with Finance approved margins for inter-company business transactions.
2. Support local production improvement and product development. ？ Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet the company's procurement objectives including strategic supplier management, cost control, and sourcing risk solutions. ？ Overall responsibility for supplier selection, as well as supplier qualification and management. Lead supplier qualification processes, support in the negotiation of framework contracts; Define and ensure effective application of framework contracts and category policies for his/her scope and strengthen subsequent performance (quality, capacity, savings, cost reductions, supplier performance, category KPIs, sustainability) ？ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, engineering, operations and purchasing, to develop product concepts and specifications that align with market demands and pricing levels; ？ Work closely with the suppliers to develop new parts and improve production quality; Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations to assess quality, delivery, compliance, and take appropriate actions to address any issues. ？ Locally support all orders placed at the suppliers in the region including following ongoing activities regarding tooling, production, quality, delivery schedules and logistics. ？ Run the operations according to the Code of Conduct, Environment Health & Safety (EHS), and Quality Management System.
3. Initiate and implement a sustainable cost control plan. ？ Work out an overall sourcing/supplier optimization plan with the guidance of HQ sourcing and local management team. ？ Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to develop and implement product improvement initiatives, cost reduction strategies, and sustainability initiatives. ？ Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost-effective and competitive sourcing solutions. ？ Support Finance team in Supplier Audits and identifying cost divers for an overall improved cost based performance.
Requirements 任职要求： ？ Minimum 5 years in strategic sourcing in an international manufacturing company with focus on but not limited to (E&E parts, casting, machining, welding, fabrication). ？ Experience in international negotiation and contract negotiation. ？ Hands-on experience in leading or participating in formulating sourcing strategies covering supplier management policy, procurement procedures, and cost control methodologies. ？ Experience in mechanical engineering products (Industrial & Marine). ？ Have solid technology and process understanding. ？ Proficiency in English writing and speaking is required. ？ Excellent negotiating and commercial experience. ？ Strong team and communication skills as well as reliability and analytical thinking. ？ Ability to cost control and understand cost drivers.
