Walmart Connect (WMC) is Walmart's media and advertising platform, uniquely designed to help brands reach hundreds of millions of shoppers across their entire shopping journey, online and in stores. Data at scale, omni-channel solutions, closed loop attribution and a “One Walmart” approach are key differentiators for Walmart Connect.
WMC is looking for a B2B marketer who is based in China and bilingual in English and Mandarin to help inform the marketing strategy and execute in market. This role is for an individual contributor who has a successful track record targeting China-based businesses with marketing messages. The right candidate will possess a deep knowledge of the language, cultural nuances and tactics that can make or break successful B2B marketing endeavors in China.

Responsibilities include:
1. Acting as a local point of contact and strategic marketing partner to the cross-functional business leads at Walmart Connect responsible for growing incremental advertising revenue from
a. International third-party Walmart Marketplace sellers in China
b. International API partners offering their ad tech and/or services to third-party Walmart Marketplace sellers in China
2. Informing and executing the annual international marketing plan to meet or exceed the goals set out in the Walmart Connect annual operating plan.
a. Tactical elements could include, but are not limited to, the creation of in language: case studies, educational webinars, ad campaigns, industry event activations, onboarding materials, sales collateral, pitch presentations, newsletters/drip campaigns or other forms of communication, insights and best practices, and much more.
3. Tracking and reporting marketing specific KPI’s.
4. Collaborating with, iterating against, and in some cases literally translating the successful strategies and materials the U.S. focused marketers have already created.
5. Being the voice of Chinese sellers and API partners on bigger cross functional marketing projects, and building a feedback loop to better understand their needs and perceptions of our brand to create better strategies for the future.
6. Representing the voice of marketing to the Walmart Connect team based in China.
7. Driving process and operational excellence as we add this new international practice into existing structures, reviews, and approvals.
8. Translating, and checking translations, of marketing related materials from English to Mandarin and Mandarin to English.

Minimum Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field and 3 years' experience in marketing or related field OR 7 years' experience in marketing or related field.
2. Data acumen and best-in-class communications and persuasive storytelling skills: verbal, written, and PowerPoint presentation creation in English and Mandarin.
3. Ability to rapidly assess and adjust priorities in a dynamic environment.
4. Strong relationship-building and internal client management skills for healthy cross-functional collaboration in a matrixed organization.
5. Comfortable providing and receiving feedback, dealing with ambiguity, and having tough conversations.
6. Ability to be thorough and thoughtful while still maintaining a very fast pace.
7. Detail oriented and organized.
8. Able to adapt work schedule to align with stakeholders across multiple global time-zones.

Preferred Qualifications
1. Master's in Business Administration or related field.
2. 5 years of experience as a marketer successfully targeting China based businesses.
3. Background in eComm/Retail marketing and/or ad sales marketing with tech companies and/or agencies.
