Key Responsibilities: 1.Manage the operations of the lab at the Shanghai Innovation Center, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and maintaining a safe working environment. 2.Oversee the planning and execution of experiments, testing, and analysis in the lab, in alignment with project objectives and customer requirements. 3.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and procure the necessary equipment, materials, and resources for lab activities. 4.Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for lab processes, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. 5.Provide technical guidance and support to lab personnel, including training, coaching, and performance management. 6.Maintain accurate records of lab activities, test results, and experimental data, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection policies. 7.Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate collaborative research projects and leverage shared lab resources. 8.Continuously monitor and evaluate lab performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process optimizations. 9.Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to lab operations. 10.Collaborate with the Head of Application - China to align lab activities with business objectives and support customer projects effectively.
Qualifications and Experience: ?Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. ?Proven experience in technical sales, application engineering, or a similar role within the electronics industry. ?Strong knowledge of electronic materials, processes, and applications, with a focus on the Chinese market. ?Previous experience in managing a lab, including overseeing operations, equipment, and resources. ?Excellent understanding of laboratory safety protocols, quality assurance processes, and documentation practices. ?Experience in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for lab processes. ?Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage resources effectively. ?Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. ?Fluency in both Chinese and English is required.
