Mission: - You are overall responsible to develop the sales & Gross Margin% (GM%) for lighting product lines in VS China division. - Both in terms of strategy and operational deployment , Your priority is to Promoting the sales results of the existing distributors and appoint those of new distributors with 4P marketing mix - Build for China market a complete lighting product line to fuel the sales growth - Ensure the successful sales launch of new ranges. - Your will monitor the product sales & GM% performance including new to ranges (NTR), to ensure the profitable sales growth.
Main Responsibilities: 1/ Product: As a division trade marketer, you have the product marketing expertise to: - Build business plans together with sales team, with sales potential volume and turnover, market price, margin and stock level etc. - Monitor product portfolio lifecycle: from launch, to the continuous update of the references status in the existing range - Monthly sales analysis, report and follow-up, Identify the major gaps and find solution for business recovery - Visit customers & market on a regular base - Give support for product-technical questions to customers and customer service - Coordinate with quality department if have quality issues - Set up a close relationship with your internal suppliers globally
2/ Pricing: You will do regular competition (OES, Smuggling, Adaptables, B suppliers) benchmark to ensure our price is in a good positioning and competitive. - Formulate range and pricing needs, based on market developments and competition analysis - To propose action plans when market price changes - Be responsible for price increase plan (yearly) - Monitor the GM% to achieve the target
3/ Promotion: You are in charge of the manage the product promotion when: - Be in continuous support for divisions sales team by weekly Correctives Action Plans (CAP) / Business Opportunities (BOP) and selling machines - Be the privileged interface with your internal supplier for product development - Be active to propose the solution when overstock and depreciated - Plan product lines’ marketing communication contents together with digital marketing manager
4/ Channel: Understand the distribution network: national wide car specialists, regional level/lower level distributors, Insurance channel, and e business channel as well. - With knowledge of key players in the market, especially Audi, VW, BMW, BENZ, Nissan, PSA…Specialists - Visit customers in a regular base, to understand customers’ needs in the field
5/ Stock monitoring: - Draw up of monthly forecasts for stock procurement according to monthly - Demand planning process - Monitor responsible product lines’ stock level to avoid overstock
6. Champion for market analysis & mid-term product line strategy : - Manage Market Studies : Information gathering by sales team / External research projects / customer survey - Market quantification and Competition analysis, including market watch and research if necessary - Build up mid-term product line strategy including turnover, market share, pricing, channel etc.
