Your Mission China Focus: - Lead the retail accountant team and managed retail-related finance tasks, such as supervising monthly closing and reconciliations, improving the current internal processes, etc. - Actively influence and contribute to the E-commerce business and improve the automation level. - Corporate closely with business partners (retail team and E-commerce team) to be well-prepared for fast-paced growth. - Manage the retail accountant team to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and capability to succeed in their roles.
Rest of APAC: - Create the reconciliation template for all retail stores in the rest of APAC (Hong Kong, Australia, Korea) - Take over the DTC-E (webshop) tasks from the global accounting team - Be responsible for month-end closing activities related to the retail stores and E-commerce in the rest of APAC to ensure it is in line with the global calendars. - Be the representative of the Finance team in the new store opening process. - Contribute in the creation of financial processes for the new stores and actively involved in the preparation stage. - Manage the cross-communication with several teams, including the global retail tech team, the global system team, the local retail team, and the external consultants if needed.
Your Story: - Experience with the retail industry is a “Must” - A strong educational background and proven work experience in accounting/finance - Leadership experience and decision-making skills - Strong communication skills within a global organization - The ability of easily multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and prioritize between multiple tasks - Motivation to be part of building up state-of-the-art accounting function - Fluency in Chinese and English both written and spoken. - Experience with the D365 system is desirable - Japanese or Korean speaking is a plus
