We are always on the lookout for future-oriented talent – want to join the ride? Your main responsibilities are ? Take technical ownership of this specific domain within Business unit propulsion. ? Define technical requirements for E-motors / starters/drives for sales, project purchasing and customer order engineering. ? Support commercial standardization/selection of vendors. ? Participate in any future product development activities related to electrification of propulsion. ? Provide technical support for installation and commissioning of those electrical systems and components. ? Develop a roadmap, and vision for E-motors & drives and related support systems. You will shine in this role when you have: ? Electric motors (including permanent magnet motors) used for propulsion. ? Starters for E-motor-driven propulsion devices. ? LV / MV variable frequency drives (VFDs) driving those propulsion motors. ? Power management systems / MCCs. ? Marine class rules and regulations related to E-motors / starters/drives/power management. ? Experience, 3 or more years, on how those systems and components are installed on seagoing vessels. ? Energy management systems. ? Analitic in related E-motor and drive concepts. ? Fluent communication in English. ? Willingness to travel occasionally. ? Experience, hands-on, with Eplan is seen as an advantage. ? Excellent reporting skills. ? Leading development project(s). ? Close cooperation with Life Cycle management. ?
