Job Responsibility:
？ Assist in the quarterly and annual income tax reporting process as needed, including preliminary review of quarterly tax accounting packages prepared by local offices, preparation of return to provision true up, under US GAAP tax accounting principles, and analysis of any tax exposures under FIN 48 principles.
？ Assist in the review and coordination of tax declarations/filings of regional entities, evaluating the possibility of inhouse certain tax work depending on the resource on hand and complexity of the tasks.
？ Oversee and assist with intercompany (IC) transfer pricing (TP) matters for the region and coordinate the management of local TP requirements/policies/studies with our corporate tax team. This may include preparation/review of IC agreements, and the coordination of RHQ management fees and methodology/support.
？ Oversee and support income tax audits and inspections/inquiries for the region.
？ Lead and/or support special projects, including the coordination of Hi Tech incentive and R&D projects, mergers & acquisitions, integrations and formation/closure of entities, process/system improvements, and other key planning initiatives.
？ Oversee and adhere to department policies to manage, update and ensure the tax accounting quarterly and annual procedures are in compliance with required SOX control objectives.
？ Provide treasury leadership in cash operations and liquidity planning in the region. Direct the implementation and ongoing enhancement of a global cash flow forecasting process to accurately predict the timing of short-term cash requirements.
？ Manage banking relationships. Track bank fees and share of wallet. Manage bank notes such as collection, discounting, transfer, and e-notes system. Develop strategy to rationalize the number of banking partners and accounts in the region.
？ Collaborate with other departments to manage foreign exchange risk. Be an integral part to implement FX strategies/hedging programs. Manage FX transactions including spot trades for the APAC region.
？ Recommend and execute liquidity strategies to support business operations. Work with tax/accounting teams to facilitate global repatriation, and other cross border cash optimization strategies such as RMB domestic cash pool, RMB cross-border cash pool, intercompany netting, and APAC regional cash pooling.
？ Ensure regulatory compliance, including the filing of required Treasury related reports to SAFE as well as FBAR reporting and SOX control compliance.
？ Supervision and development of team regarding global tax and treasury processes and policies for continuous improvement in efficiency and optimization strategies.
Requirements:
？ Bachelor, major in accounting, finance or tax, professional certificates including CPA, CTA, Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Chartered Financial Analyst？ (CFA？)preferred
？ 5+ years, preference to have 2+ years in audit firms
