The main responsibility of the Senior Manager IT is to drive implementation of IT Landscape within the limits of resources, requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines. Lead the development, implementation, operations, and maintenance of the IT Landscape. He or she gives input to the IT policies and the desired state for IT. Essential Duties & Job Responsibilities * Work cross-functionally with the business departments to achieve common business objectives, ensuring that there is open and efficient cooperation. * Secure and develop the efficiency in delivering the department tasks, activities, and targets, via the people. * To strive for that the systems provided are aligned with the corresponding business processes to support our commercial organization to improve profitability and efficiency in a sustainable way. * Chair or participate in project steering groups concerning the area of responsibility. * Make plans to keep the systems provided are up to date and to turn these plans into reality, i.e. implementation and development roadmaps and release plans. * Work in close cooperation with the Management Team and Managers to understand and define the needs. * Lead, delegate, and support the IT team and employees. * Ensure that there is an organization and necessary resources, competence, and facilities to fulfil and uphold set strategies and targets. * Maintains employees by working with recruitment, introduction, competence development and succession planning. Education and/or Experience * Relevant Education or equivalent work experience * Business knowledge and experience from a similar role an advantage * Managerial and Leadership experience * Fluent in English * Good knowledge in one or more of the following areas: technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems * Good understanding of architectural principles * ITIL knowledge * Work experience within the profession, 5-8 years Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Advance leadership skills * Supporting others to develop and learn, recognizing their achievements, and building an organizational culture where knowledge and growth are valued and rewarded. * High ability to make the right prioritizations in stressful situations. * Presentation skills * Ability to create cross functional networks. * Creative in create solutions to problems. * Analyze failure statistics and see patterns and propose appropriate corrective actions. * Listening and communicating openly, honestly, and respectfully with different audiences
