MAIN TASKS
61 Overall design NRC planning, tracking, and control.
61 Link to Operations for manufacturing philosophy, design for cost agreements, etc.
61 Change control at Customer level.
61 Management of project technical content.
61 Identification of work packages suitable for off-load to external Suppliers.
61 To identify and implement Lean initiatives and to encourage a culture of continuous improvement.
61 Assist to GKN global team at technical meetings providing sound 2-way technical translations.
61 Assist to GKN global team logistically to ensure their timely support to contracts when in China.
61 To assist with bid development activities for the Engineering team in China.

o Assist to Contractual negotiations
o Assist to CE with bid cost generation.
61 Establish and maintain good relationship with customer team in China and global locations, identify potential opportunities and key stake holders, help develop proper approach to engage further with customer to support and strengthen company’s China footprint strategy.
61 Assist in supporting Export Control and Compliance requirements; Liaising with Compliance team to ensure that latest requirements are shared with the China team.
61 Managing the technical infrastructure (IT, Engineering toolset, data transfer, etc.,) and deployment of engineering teams to support China ETQ and JV project requirements.
61 Support the Technical Work Package (WP) transfer (ME & Q Planning, Qualification/Quality Approvals, Tooling, Technical Project Integration & Co-ordination, etc.) of GKN and customer WP’s from incumbent locations to the new JV facility.
61 Support and develop GKN participation in Chinese and International symposiums and conferences in China and other events as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
61 Sound background in Aerospace Engineering (design, analysis, manufacture, engineering integration & ideally composites etc.)
61 Ability to develop technical solutions, compliant with requirements within agreed programs and timescales.
61 Have a responsible approach to the Health & Safety of themselves and others
61 Knowledge of processing methods for both metallic and composites.
61 Proactive about new developments in the area of expertise.
61 Good interpersonal team working skills.

61 PC literate – MS Office Programs
61 Knowledge of engineering toolsets would be advantageous – CATIA.
61 Excellent cultural awareness of western and eastern cultures is required (including language skills, Written/Spoken Mandarin & English).
61 The candidate must be able to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously throughout the GKN organization as well as across Chinese customers’ organization.
61 Experience in working with China aviation industries, familiar with the industry structure, network and working culture.

协助支持出口管制和合规要求;与合规团队保持联系，确保与中国团队分享最新的需求。
管理技术基础设施(IT，工程工具集，数据传输等)和工程团队的部署，以支持中国ETQ和合资项目的需求。
支持吉凯恩和客户的技术工作包(WP)从现有地点转移到新的合资工厂的工作包(ME & Q计划、资格/质量批准、工装、技术项目集成和协调等)。
支持和发展GKN参与中国和国际研讨会和会议以及其他需要的活动。

知识、技能和经验要求：
良好的航空航天工程背景，有1年以上在国内航空工业企业从事设计研发等方向的工作经验(设计，分析，制造，工程集成和理想的复合材料等)
有能力开发技术解决方案，符合既定计划和时间表的要求。
对自己和他人的健康和安全负责
了解金属和复合材料的加工方法。
积极关注专业领域的新发展。
良好的团队协作能力。
在工作的各个方面都有创新精神。
灵活，能够在复杂的环境中工作。

熟练使用电脑，熟悉微软办公软件
具有工程工具集知识优先- CATIA。

候选人必须能够同时参与GKN组织和中国客户组织的多个项目。
具有与中国航空工业合作的经验，熟悉行业结构、网络和工作文化。
