Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Supply Planner to join our small to medium co-packing operations in China. As we transition to insource this operation, we need an individual who can take ownership of our end-to-end long term planning processes by developing supply strategies, drive consistence end to end excellence to support business growth, and deliver customer service excellence, inventory and cost optimizing, change management., ensuring efficient operations and successful execution of customer orders.
Responsibilities: 1. Demand Forecast and Supply Planning: 61 Develop and implement a robust supply planning strategy based on demand forecast and available resources. 61 Collaborate with internal customers to gather rolling forecast and create a long-term supply plan accordingly. 61 Monthly and weekly supply and replenishment plan generation for internal customers. Balance internal customers supply service and cost ,ensure timely support to business. 61 Schedule seasonal peak demand in advance. Anticipate peak demand, have the productivity to make strategic decisions, to balance the supply plan, prevent the loss of productivity. 61 Collaborate with internal customers , procurement, customs executive and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of semi-finished products, packaging materials and components. 61 Responsible for planning production direct consumable and managing inventory and delivery. 61 Collaborate with production team to ensure optimal utilization of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to meet supply targets. 2. Production Scheduling: 61 Through APS advanced planning and scheduling to meet resource constraints and balance various production resources in the production process. Optimal production scheduling at different production bottleneck stages; Enable fast scheduling and react quickly to changes in demand. 61 Collaborate with production planning to balance production capacity through the reasonable arrangement of scheduling people, machines, materials and tooling, we can meet the delivery time and improve the on-time delivery rate. 61 Optimize bottleneck capacity, use the shortest processing time, optimize production sequence to minimize the changeover time, ensure the equipment and shift of priority orders, and avoid order delay. 61 Consider factors such as material availability, machine capacity, production constraints, and customer delivery deadlines. 3. Performance Monitoring and Analysis: 61 Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply planning, such as forecast accuracy, MOQ, rush order, material delivery order on-time delivery, case-fill rate, production cycle time, and resource utilization. 61 Analyze supply data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for process optimization. 61 Prepare regular reports and provide insights into management, suggesting improvements to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness. Drive monthly supply review with key stakeholders. 61 Long term rough -cut capacity planning and action driven. 61 Evaluate key supply loss, understand main constraints & identify risks and opportunities, initiating actions to mitigate the gap via E2E synchronization. 4. Cross-functional Collaboration: 61 Participate in project management meetings during transition period, provide appropriate inputs and feedback on process design and master data preparation. Participating in SAP UAT and draft SOP accordingly to deliver the EUT. 61 Supporting the onboarding of new customers by coordinating supply chain readiness. Collaborating with internal teams to manage changes in supply and demand due to new customer requirements. 61 Liaise with internal stakeholders, including customers, customs executive, operations team, quality control, warehouse and logistics, to ensure smooth execution of supply plans. 61 Coordinate with suppliers and production to align production activities and manage external dependencies, meeting planned objectives. 61 Foster effective communication and collaboration among teams to address issues and achieve shared goals. 61 Continuous communication with internal customers to confirm the delivery date, regular and irregular communication, and the balance of the delivery time of important/rush orders, so that rush orders can be arranged under control and minimize the impact of the original plan. Qualifications and Skills: 61 Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 61 Proven experience in supply planning management and digital solution (SNP|APO, BI and etc.), and inventory management, preferably within an FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) co-packing or manufacturing environment, with short shelf life or perishable products. E2E long term planning and value stream management experience is preferred. 61 Strong applied knowledge of production planning principles, capacity planning, material requirements planning, and lean manufacturing concepts. 61 Familiarity with SAP and experience with SNP/APO implementation, Office 365, advanced knowledge of MS Excel. 61 Excellent analytical/numerical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. 61 Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address supply-related challenges. 61 Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners, ideally in English. 61 Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
