Responsibilities: · Conduct market study and competition analysis for responsible product families-Electric drive, e.g, Motor ,drive and cable etc. · Define fit-for-market product portfolio, product (line) strategy based on good understanding about the market. · Define product specifications for key products with clear market positioning. · Work closely with Development, Purchasing, Production, Supply Chain and other relevant functions to develop market-oriented products with shorter development time and ensure reliable quality and delivery after market launch. · Define product go-to-market strategy and drive product campaign in GCN/Global for responsible products. · Support localization projects including transferring product know-how & information from HQ to GCN. · Collect local requirement and feedback regarding product portfolio topics and share with HQ/Global Network to shape BU Product Strategy. · Represent GCN’s interest & requirement in global product marketing-related activities.
Requirements: · Bachelor or Master’s degree in electric automation engineering or a related field · 》5 years of relevant business experience necessary. · Proven experience as an Application Engineer for electric drives in industrial environment is mandatory. · Proven experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role, in the industrial sector is a plus. · Strong technical background and understanding of electric motors, drive controllers, and cables. · Knowledge in industrial real-time communication (i.e. Profinet,Ethercat,Ethernet/IP) · Knowledge of industrial applications and market trends in China. · English business level (reading and spoken). Fluent in English is a must. German is a plus. · Good communication and presentation skills. Capable to explain product features and benefits in both technical way and commercial way. · Strong market research, competition analysis and data analysis skills. · Strong entrepreneurship and customer orientation.
